I feel as though I haven't quite gotten into the "christmas spirit", and i'm beginning to feel like a grinch. In all honesty, I hate christmas and always have since I was a kid, because my family always fights around this time of year. On a lighter note (sorta), I need to save a few more hundred dollars to get my boyfriend's christmas present. And then I have to buy my parents' and sister's. God damn. And his family, too. I'm usually fairly good with inspiring myself to create something, but at the present moment, I want to paint so god damn badly and I have no clue where to begin. I decided to give out a large amount of critiques on other people's pieces this morning, but all it really did was flush my self-esteem down the toilet. I should really get back to working on the assignments I need to complete over the course of these holidays, however I'm also somewhat worried that I'm going to end up lacking motivation to complete my senior year. I'm back, once again. I apologise, deviantArt. I haven't been very faithful. I've been studying and enrolling in my new Uni and there's so much I have going for me at the moment that I'm over the moon, really. I also have a boyfriend now (wow, who would have seen that one coming). I've travelled a bit (mostly around Asia) and I think I'm prepared to come back to deviantArt and do what I used to love - make art.
